An “integrated waste treatment plant” in the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi, during the corona pandemic. The facility, which commenced operations in 2021, in a ceremony that marked the opening of the EcoPark of Tadweer, under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Salim Al Kaabi, The Director General of The Centre of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi (Tadweer) was the first of its kind, in the offering its services to the general public, in the United Arab Emirates.
We are working on a fully automated program to allow for the provision of our services at the click-of-a-button to our customers through our Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. Even more, as part of our digital transformation, we are working on growing our digital infrastructure and enhancing our online presence. We are providing tools for registration and renewal of our services “at the click of a button” increasing our online presence and optimizing our processes, therefore making it easy for our clients to access information regarding their waste generation rates and average trends and even adding a portal for the online payment of fees and the requesting of other information relating to their facilities. Our customer service teams represent the front-end of our organization and are well versed in the waste management requirements of the Government, for example in terms of waste tracking and manifest, and often advise our customers on the framework of the governing laws, rules, and regulations in the country, for example, those pertaining to the Bolisaty system of Tadweer as well as other waste classifications and technical guidelines of Tadweer. Moreover, our top management representatives, together with our business development team members, make regular visits to clientele management offices to ensure the operation works are running smooth and the executives are pleased with our overall performance. We even make it a point to invite our customers to come and visit our treatment facilities to learn about our complex engineering processes and witness our sustainable practices first-hand.

At CWT, we strongly believe that the first step towards ‘good’ waste management is to reduce (if not prevent) the generation of waste in the first place, therefore we conduct awareness workshops and training seminars in order to help our clients design and implement a cost-effective, long-term waste management strategies that helps them reduce their waste generation rates and achieve environmentally sustainable waste management practices at their facilities. Moreover, we also offer additional services e.g. packaging, marking, and labelling of wastes for compliance with United Nations (UN) and Transport of Dangerous Good by Road (ADR) requirements together with the provision of supplies from waste bins and containers to other consumables such as bags and boxes to our customers, becoming a one-stop-shop for all their waste management needs. CWT recently became a member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), which is an international network of waste professionals and experts alongside the “Chartered Institution of Wastes Management” professional qualification, and the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) has also awarded their ranks to include qualified Certified Hazardous Materials Managers to members of the CWT team.
